We can all do our part to help insure a bright and healthy future for our children, and their children to come. Sometimes the problems that our world faces seem almost overwhelming, so we just throw up our hands and give up. Instead of doing that, try making some small changes around the house, and include the family in the process. This is a wonderful way to teach your kids about how connected we all are as a people, and also how much the actions of each individual matter…no matter how old they are.

The holiday season is fast approaching, and with it we’ll all be shopping a little more.  Here are a few ideas for how to shop a little greener!

• www.goodguide.com a good place to go to find the stuff you need, and to make choices that are better for you and the planet you live on.
• www.karmaorganicspa.com all natural, chemical free nail polishes, etc.  Getting all dressed up and going out this holiday season doesn’t have to be bad for us!
• www.giveagreenbag.com great earth friendly ideas for those hard to shop for people on your list.  
• www.eBay.com/greenteam I guess they probably have just about everything covered!
